Yasmin has many years experience of ministry, pioneering and mission. Among other things she's planted a youth congregation, helped pioneer cafe church and worked as a detached youthworker. She's a qualified pastoral supervisor and coach. She was a one to one tutor at Wesley House Cambridge.

Her PhD is 'Reading Darkness: The Burial of Jesus in the Gospel of John' and looks at the Johannine burial narrative from a literary feminist perspective, which she achieved through Sheffield University.

Yasmin is married to presbyter Rev Matt Finch and they have two boys.
